Heading Home

October 6 - 21, 2019

Time to ship the van home. Our travels in the Sprinter in Europe are over. We are heading home for awhile. Who knows where our next destination will be.

Vincent Vango waiting for his turn to be loaded on the ship. 450 new Land Rovers had to be loaded first.

We traveled on the ship, the Atlantic Sea, with Vincent. Leaving the harbour in Liverpool, England. We navigated through tight spaces and locks.

Our cabin on board the ship. It was huge. Because this was the end of our trip, we splurged on the owners cabin. We had a large lounge area.

More of the lounge area.

The bedroom.

At sea. The Atlantic Sea carries containers on the upper decks and below are the vehicle decks.

A couple of times a day the crew launches weather balloons.

After 8 days crossing the Atlantic, we landed in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We had rough seas, but luckily no sea sickness. There were 9 passengers. We had a great time. The captain and crew were great. I highly recommend traveling this way. It was a nice change of pace.

Downtown Halifax.

We saw a boat like this in Cape Town South Africa only it was much smaller.
