Addo Elephant National Park - 2nd time

April 12-13, 2019

Addo Elephant NP was the first park we visited when we arrived in South African in November 2018. Since we were close we decided to visit again. We saw lots of elephants the first time and were hopeful we would again. We figured this would be the last chance to go on some game drives before leaving Africa. We were very lucky again seeing a lot of elephants. We also saw a lot of other animals including a large male lion, very lucky!

This elephant was as large as the van.

Finished drinking at the waterhold, now time to eat.

Lion bored with his audience.

Lion jam - I could not believe the people climbing out of their cars to sit on top for a better view. The lion was pretty close to the road. The lion finally got bored, stood up, stretched, and walked away.
